Whistleblower protection is a fundamental civil right.
Village Resorts Hospitality Group, LLC, maintains a zero-tolerance policy against any form of targeting, reprisal, or retaliation against our Founder Mr. Oliver B. Mitchell III who first reported wrongdoing in good faith.
Legally and structurally, the prohibition on retaliation covers all mediums and environments, including:
Digital & Virtual, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Neural, Electronic & Communication, Physical & Professional, and Social Media.
While traditional civil rights focus primarily on protecting individuals from discrimination based on immutable characteristics (such as race, gender, religion, disability, and sexual orientation), whistleblower protections secure an individual's right to exercise free speech, uphold the law, and report systemic abuses without fearing retaliatory destruction of their livelihood or personal security.
Whistleblower rights are frequently litigated directly under foundational civil rights laws:
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964: Section 704(a) contains explicit anti-retaliation provisions. If an employee blows the whistle on an employer for engaging in systemic workplace discrimination or racial harassment, their protection from being fired is handled as a civil rights retaliation claim.
Section 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866: This foundational statute protects individuals who speak out against or report illegal discrimination, treating retaliation against the whistleblower as a severe violation of their civil rights.
Any entity or individual—internal or external—who engages in retaliatory targeting against Mr. Mitchell, his household, or household occupant's would be in violation of all known domestic, international, and space based law's, and can and will face immediate legal action, personal liability, and referral to federal and international authorities.
We remind all it is illegal to engage in retailiaion to begin with and no such legal defense is legally acceptable per the law.
No one is above the law.
